Trelleborg port

Two terminals on Norra Nyhamnsgatan

Trelleborg sits at the southern tip of Skåne, and the ferry port borders directly on the town centre. Both ferry companies check in vehicles on Norra Nyhamnsgatan: TT-Line at number 1b, Stena Line at number 1A. For the return crossing to Rostock, you go to your ferry company's address; your ticket shows which one that is.

Getting there by car

From Malmö it's around 30 kilometres via the E22 and the E6, from Ystad around 45 kilometres via road 9 and the E65. If you're coming from Gothenburg or the north for the return crossing, take the E6 south past Malmö.

With TT-Line, check-in for vehicles opens three hours before departure, or one hour before for departures between 23:30 and 06:00, and closes 30 minutes before departure. Stena Line closes check-in 60 minutes before departure. All deadlines are on the Check-in page.

Check-in without a car

Foot passengers and cyclists don't check in at the terminal in Trelleborg, but in town:

• TT-Line: self-service check-in at the main station, Kontinentplan 2. The shuttle to the ship leaves 45 minutes before departure, and check-in also closes 45 minutes before. The station is closed between 02:00 and 04:30.
• Stena Line: check-in at Hamngatan 9, less than five minutes' walk from the station, then by shuttle bus to the terminal.

If you're arriving by Pågatåg, the distances are short: off the train, check in, onto the shuttle.

Parking

There's no car park right at the TT-Line terminal, only a small public car park nearby. Stena Line names paid parking near its terminal. If you're leaving your car in Trelleborg and travelling on to Rostock on foot, plan your parking spot in advance.

By rail and bus

The Pågatåg, Skånetrafiken's regional train, runs to Trelleborg Centralstation. From the station you're less than five minutes' walk from Stena Line's check-in point on Hamngatan, while TT-Line's check-in point is inside the station itself. Skånetrafiken buses also stop at the station, and taxis wait there.

Before departure

There are no restaurants at the port; the town centre is opposite, good for the wait before check-in. Toilets are available at the TT-Line terminal. TT-Line's office is staffed daily from 06:00 to 23:30; Stena Line's terminal is open Monday to Friday from 05:15 to 23:45, Saturday until 23:30 and Sunday from 06:30 to 23:00.
